2008 MINI Cooper S R52 Convertible - 75k Miles - Fresh MOT - Lots of Recent MAJOR Work. NEW CLUTCH, REAR MAIN SEAL, SUPERCHARGER SERVICE, FULL FRONT SUSPENSION REFRESH, + MORE. Reluctantly selling my R52 MINI Cooper S Convertible. This has been my project over the last year with a friend and has had a large amount of mechanical work completed to bring it back up to a really solid standard. It's a great fun car to drive, especially with the roof down, and it now feels tight, refreshed and ready for a new owner to enjoy and look after... The car has just passed a fresh MOT and The soft top has also recently been cleaned and treated and presents well. Lots of paperwork to come with the car too. Recent work carried out includes: -New clutch + Rear Main seal -Supercharger Service -Front suspension refresh including control arm bushes, ball joints and Anti Roll bar bushings -New front struts and top mounts -New drop links -Power steering fluid replaced -Lanoguard undersealed -Fresh Antifreeze/Coolant -Various other small jobs, happy to inform on -Tyres are very healthy The car drives well and pulls strongly as it should from the Legendary W11 Supercharged 1.6 Petrol engine. It's a really enjoyable little car. As expected for a car of this age there are a few cosmetic marks. There is a scrape on the rear driver-side arch and the driver's window has some scoring. There is also the occasional bit of interior trim noise while driving, which is common on convertibles. None of these affect the way the car drives. A couple of minor items are being sorted this week: one front fog light bulb is being replaced and the headlamp washers are currently not working. This is an honest and solid example with most being ragged and heavily modded this is a relatively low mileage and untouched honest car. A lot of time and effort has gone into bringing this car up to a good mechanical standard, with many of the common and expensive jobs already completed. Full leather seats, Heated F+R Windscreen, Xenon lights with Washers , Auto Rain wipers, Reversing sensors, Front and Rear Fogs. The car will be driven for another week for commuting before being SORN for the time being as the insurance runs out. I can provide more in-depth details on request.
