Description

For sale is my Subaru Legacy Spec. B finished in Atlantic Blue Pearl metallic. I have owned it for 2 years now, and it has been faultless. It is fantastic fun to drive - being a back to basics 4 wheel drive manual with no traction control to nanny you - whilst aslo being able to take the family with you and even your dog. Unfortunately I need to part ways with it as I am moving house. The overall exterior condition is good for its age, with the usual stone chips and car park dings as expected on a 20 year old car. The bonnet is by far the worst pannel on the car, with a few noticable marks; also the scoop seal needs a little touch up as it isnt the best. But overall I would say it looks great, still recieving compliments when filling up - a frequent activity! In terms of underneath condition, it seems to be holding up well with no signs of serious corrosion to the best of my knowledge. Mechanically, I have looked after it meticulously. I have serviced it 3 times in the 10k or so miles I have owned. It has had all new spark plugs and coil packs, along with other miscellaneous things such as a coolant flush, new aux. belt and tensioner, and a new Varta battery. The gearbox oil and clutch were replaced by the previous owner, however I have replaced the clutch fluid. I have also changed the rear diff oil. Brake fluid has been flushed, and in December the car has had new brakes all-round, with a big brake kit fitted on the front supplied from ICP. The tyres are also new as of December, as well as both rear wheel bearings. Last year I also fitted the car with Tein Flex Z coilovers and polybushed SuperPro front lower control arms too. In terms of other modifications, it has been treated to a Kakimoto racing intake chamber, along with a HKS filter. Raptor exhaust manifolds have been fitted too, with two sports cats, genuine O2 sensors, all as part of a custom 2.5inch exhaust finished with genuine HKS back boxes. The 2Forge alloys were new as of last year. Regarding the interior, it has a few age related marks and scuffs, but the leather still holds up really nicely. It benefits from a carplay/android auto headunit, and I had the steering wheel refurbished and fitted a new gear knob. The sunroof works as it should, as well as the AC and heated seats. Previous documented service history is as follows: 1k, 12k, 22k, 35k, 42k, 59k, 70k, 77k, 81k, 85k, 98k, 106k, 113k, 121k. The last owner also had a thread on PistonHeads documenting their ownership with the car.
