For sale is this magnificent Lexus SC430. I'm selling the vehicle on behalf of its owner (family friend), a lovely lady who's now into her 80's and looking for something a little more practical. She has owned this vehicle since 2007, whilst prior to her ownership, it's been subject to just two other custodians. Regarding the vehicles provenance, it's one of very few SC430's Lexus produced in the beautiful 'Twilight Amethyst Pearl' - a deep, rich purple that reveals a wonderful sparkle whilst under sunlight. The car has accumulated just a slither u see 63,000 miles, and is in overall very presentable condition. When observing prior maintenance, I've a total of 8 stamps in the book (last service was for over 1,500, and less than 2,000 miles ago), whilst all 4 tires in are excellent condition. It's also worth highlighting a lack of modification, something many SC's have sadly been compromised with in recent times. Mechanically, it's marvellous 4.3L V8 runs as smoothly as silk. The vehicle was also given a clean bill of heath by Lexus at the start of last year, whilst electronically, the vehicle is very clean. I have noticed the fuse for the electric steering-wheel height adjuster is due replacement, however everything from the electric roof, to the windows, to the heated seats is working with the same grace as 21 years ago. Regarding areas for further attention, there are a few minor bits worth mentioning. For a start, the rear quarter has a scar in its paint, whilst there's a few small rust bubbles at the top of the roof, which whilst cosmetic-only in development, is worth attention over a warm weekend this coming summer. I've also been unable to find receipt for a cam belt change, however it's worth noting Lexus did not highlight it at its last inspection. Those things aside, there's a few age-related marks and small dents, but nothing perturbing for a vehicle of this maturity. I must also note, whilst the mot is coming up, I've no concern in its ability to pass another. Whilst there is no need for an immediate sale, a quick one is preferred, hence sensible, considered offers shall be entertained - please do refrain however from lowballs. It shall not be entertained, and my grace does not extend to those making insulting offers.
