Description

This is my stunning XKR which I'm deeply unsure I should be selling! I've absolutely loved this car and still do - I've not found anything to match 600 BHP from the rear wheels and the sound of the 5L V8 is incredible.... However, as you'll see I do very little mileage and cannot justify the cost of running and keeping it in optimal condition now a couple of warnings have come up - I feel there is someone out there who will be happy to take this on, sort the issues and have the passion for it like I have done in the past. Frankly I'm rubbish with mechanics of cars so someone more hands on will likely appreciate this car more than me. The good - beautiful car & colour, low mileage, personal plate included, F-Type Super Charger Pulley swap and remap performed by the fantastic Tom Lenthall Jaguar Specialists (where it's been serviced) - if you have only driven a "stock" 510 BHP XKR, this upgrade is a massive difference! Low (I think) price - am keen for someone to love this car and not mind the fixing required and I've reflected that in the price. The bad - As you can see in the video and pictures, the E-Diff fault light is on. The Power Steering Pump has just been replaced, but appears to have a "Swarf" issue so may need further preventative work (I've seen lots of XKR enthusiasts apparently regularly replace the fluid to mitigate future failures). Engine overheating light has come on a couple of times when sitting in traffic / idling for 20 mins +, no issues when driving normally outside of standstill traffic for extended periods - also seems a possibly common issue. In March 2023 (3 years ago, long fixed without any issues) the rear passenger wheel came off, it was fully repaired again by Tom Lenthall except the cosmetic body work damage (as can be seen in the pictures). Couple of the alloys could do with a touch up. Otherwise though it's been an incredible car and is in great general condition - as I type this I am again wondering if I should just get it fixed and keep it!! Video walk around from today here -
