Description
Super rare Cayman S Sport - these do not come up often and are starting to appreciate. White with black decals and ducktail spoiler, full service and maintenance history, and just 49k miles. Sadly selling due to mobility issues.
Registered March 2009, this is the highly desirable Cayman S Sport - limited to 700 worldwide (this car is number 398), with only 68 RHD cars produced. It's a higher-performance version of the Cayman S, featuring a 303hp 3.4L flat-six, PASM active suspension, Sport Chrono package, and distinctive styling. It delivers a more analogue, aggressive driving experience, with 19-inch wheels, Alcantara interior trim, and sharper acceleration. The car also has heated leather seats, rear parking sensors, and a retrofitted Android/Apple CarPlay media unit (original unit included).
The car is white with black detailing, and both the bodywork and interior are in excellent condition. The interior reflects the low mileage, with pristine Alcantara trim and unmarked seats. Everything works exactly as it should and the car drives perfectly.
It comes with a large folder of paperwork documenting maintenance and upgrades over its life, with thousands spent keeping it in excellent condition.
Notable work includes:
Crossover pipes replaced (2017)
Competition wheel stud kit fitted (2019)
GT3 brake master cylinder upgrade (2021)
200-cell stainless steel catalytic converters (2023)
Front struts and top mounts replaced (2025)
Coffin arms and control arms replaced
It also has Porsche logo puddle lights in the doors. This is a very well-maintained and well-loved example.
Reason for sale: I purchased the car at the end of December to replace a C63 AMG, wanting something more nimble for country roads. I bought it from Priddy's Motor Company, who had taken it from the previous owner after ill health meant he could no longer drive. Unfortunately, the clutch and driving position aggravate a knee injury from a skiing accident, and after about 20 minutes it becomes too painful. I will need to move back to an automatic. It's a real shame as the manual, analogue driving experience and handling are exceptional; genuinely better than the 911 and Boxsters I've owned.
Happy for any inspection and I have borescope images from January. Open to sensible offers.
