I've owned this car since December 2017. For the first seven and a half years of my ownership, it never put a foot wrong; it was entirely dependable, requiring little more than basic routine maintenance. Unfortunately, the last six months has been a different story; quite a bit of work was required at the last M.O.T. and service. Since then, multiple items have gone wrong. I am selling the car as I no longer have the time required to carry out the work that needs doing. I provide a detailed breakdown of all of the work which is required below, but it is worth noting that the engine is absolutely sound; despite the mileage, it doesn't burn or leak oil, it starts every time and runs smoothly. The brakes, gearbox and clutch are all in excellent shape to the best of my knowledge too. *The following list of jobs must be done for safety reasons*; 1.The horn only works intermittently. 2.There is a noise when driving in excess of 40mph, which increases with the speed. (I suspect this is one or both front wheel-bearings). 3.The blower motor for the heating and air conditioning system is noisy and intermittently cuts out. (Suzuki have discontinued the part, but this can be purchased on eBay). 4.Nearside headlamp (dipped beam) not working; a rubber seal needs to be removed to change the bulb, but it's too tight for me to remove. 5.Nearside front park light (side light) works intermittently; gently tapping the headlamp unit usually makes it work. *The following list of jobs are optional. A buyer may be prepared to live with these (as I have).* 1.The offside, rear tyre has a very slow leak and requires monthly inflation. 2.The external boot lock has seized; the key does not turn. 3.The interior cable-operated boot release switch locks the moment it is released, making boot access difficult. 4.The paintwork on the front bumper is peeling in several places and there is damage on the nearside corner. 5.The plastic cover for the mirror has snapped off the driver's sun-visor. 6.There is a stone chip on the nearside, rear door paintwork. 7.When driving at night, it is quite common to notice half of the heater control dials are in darkness.
