1999 Jaguar XKR 4.0 Supercharged V8 Coupe A fantastic opportunity to own a classic performance grand tourer - the iconic Jaguar XKR coupe powered by the legendary supercharged V8. This 1999 model is fitted with the 4.0L supercharged V8 engine producing around 370bhp, delivering effortless performance and the unmistakable sound of a proper Jaguar GT. These cars were among the fastest production Jaguars of their era and remain hugely enjoyable to drive today. The car runs and drives well and currently has MOT until November. It starts reliably and pulls strongly, however the engine is presently showing "engine failsafe mode" which previously indicated a left bank sensor fault. Despite this the car still runs and drives well. Recent work carried out includes: Replacement Body Processor Module (BPM) New battery fitted New windscreen installed Coolant levels checked and topped up Mechanically the car feels strong and solid for its age. The supercharged V8 runs smoothly and the gearbox shifts as it should. Cosmetically the car presents well overall and still looks stunning - the XKR coupe is a timeless design and turns heads wherever it goes. The interior does show some age-related cosmetic wear in places, which is to be expected for a 25-year-old car. There has been some water ingress into the cabin in the past during heavy rain, though the exact source has not yet been identified. This is a known issue on many of these cars and may simply require investigation of door seals or drainage. Overall this is an honest car that represents excellent value for money. With a bit of attention it could make a superb weekend GT or a very rewarding project. For the age, performance and price, this supercharged V8 Jaguar is a real bargain. Viewing welcome.
