For sale my stunning Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Cabriolet. This truly original example Is finished in Iris Metallic Blue, registered in November 1985. AFN supplied. The Carrera 3.2 is regarded by many Porsche enthusiasts as the greatest incarnation of Porsche's air-cooled flagship. A big step forward from the SC it superseded, the new and improved 911 was still very much an 'analogue' sports car, powered by the traditional air-cooled flat-six. Based on the G-series body introduced a decade earlier, the Carrera 3.2's familiar shape and galvanised body panels clothed a substantial evolution in the 911 story. This beautiful example was originally supplied by the renowned AFN Porsche (the first major Porsche importer in Britain), London, in 1985. This classic comes with a huge folder of provenance including 23 stamped services in the original Logbook with details of the original buyer from AFN Porsche, original Instruction Manual, previous receipts and bills going back to 1997 in addition to the fully stamped service history in the Logbook, and all original MOT certificates going back to 1991. It's worth noting this car was owned by the same couple from 1997 until 2015 and was serviced every single year regardless of mileage. This car has covered fewer than 5,000 miles since 2006 (including 8 years in storage 2016-2024) and is in incredible condition - its galvanised factory paint still present under the wheel arches, for example. This car was checked over by a renowned pre-purchase Porsche expert who said it is one of the best examples he has seen with excellent bodywork and in particular negligible rust at the front of the car near the battery where other cars of this age can show deterioration. This 911 has received a thorough servicing regime under my ownership with two well regarded Porsche specialist businesses including a full gearbox recondition with all syncros replaced, rear main seal replaced, a new replacement clutch and flywheel, and headlight upgrade. Factory Specification includes but is not limited to - Original Fuchs Alloy Wheels with matt rims, Full Leather interior and Electric Seats.
