Description

It's time to say goodbye to our beloved mini. NY62HWV We've had it since the 16 Feb 2015 (so just over 11 years) and served us well. Current mileage is 88795 and was 6720 when we bought her, so we've done an average of 7461 a year. One previous owner who bought it from new and then sold it at Motorpoint in Chingford. The car is in very good condition for its age. Yes, there are a couple of superficial scratches on the plastic bumper and one on the paint (reckon that would T-cut out - might do that tomorrow if it doesn't rain), a few scuff on the alloys, a very small dent on the bonnet (hardly noticeable and the paint hasn't cracked). There's a couple of scuffs on the plastic trim inside the car; but they're just scuffs and lastly the back parcel has a few some scuffs. No one has smoked in the car. The car runs well and is quiet to drive (well it's a diesel, so there is a quiet rumble as you get from diesels; but it's not noticeable). The engine the mechanic said at Kwik fit is running lovely and will easily go on for another 300k+ miles. The service light came on a couple of weeks back and it was due a service, so we bit the bullet and had it served last week at Kwik fit. We didn't want potential buyers to see a service light pop up when the engine was turned on and there was none of this getting it re-set by a mate down the road. MOT on the 30 Jan 2026 and passed first time (think it's passed first time every year) The service (Kwik fit) was done on the 11 Mar 2026 (oil, filters etc). 4 new Pirelli tyres fitted (Kwik fit) on the 15 Jan 2025 including all pads, discs, balancing, fluid, indicators etc. The mileage then was 85393, so the tyres have only done 3402 miles. The reason for selling is a change of job, which has resulted in my company giving me a car. We don't need three cars on the drive; so, the mini has to say goodbye. It's a reluctant sale; but it's time for a new owner. We've kept the car serviced, parked on a drive overnight, and with a recent MOT, even more recent service and the new tyres, it gives the car kerb appeal. Few of the bells and whistles: Alloys, rear parking sensors, Bluetooth, CD player and air conditioning, two keys, remote central locking and you can have the crook lock as well. Minis tend to hold their value, We are though happy to negotiate reasonable offers, as we'd like to see her go to a good home.
