Description

The car was CAT-S when I bought it three years ago. I had the car fully checked over and the repair had been completed professionally with no concerns. The car had previously had slght damage to the front near side quarter. The advantage of buying a good CAT-S, is the value. I had this car half price when I bought it and I'm passing that saving on now. This car should really be a 6000 car. I have just had a service at a BMW MINI main dealer, and you can see from this video, ,there is no issue with the suspension. In the three year's I have owned the car there has been no problems with car tracking or pulling. No issues with uneven tyre wear. Any inspection welcome. Talking of extras. It has digital climate control and rare heated front window. You don't need the window that much, but when you do you wil be so pleased ! I have also had cruise control fitted and a sport steering wheel that is exactly the same as the JCW wheel apart from the badge and the red stitching. See in the photos. In addition, I have fitted super-light 3-piece alloy wheels. One is slightly dented, but it doesn't leak air or put the wheel out of balance. Fitting light wheels has the same effect as uprating the springs and dampers without the complexity of changing all the suspension components. So handling is greatly improved. The ECU has been remapped to 150 bhp and 245 ft/lb. This gives the car a huge lift in performance. More power. than a Cooper D and due to the rotationally balanced and very light B37 engine, I find this car quicker in everyday driving than my new Clubman Cooper SD with the 4cyl B47. To cope with the increase in performance and improved handling I have fitted uprated EBC brakes with grooved and dimpled disks and Yellow Stuff pads. You can see in the BMW inspection video the pads are only 25% worn after 2 years. It has some nice factory white Union Jack mirror covers and I added the white roof and white bonnet stripes. I think these go great with white Minilite. EURO-6 ULEZ compliance, 20 per year VED and cheap insurance, plus the discount in price for CAT-S. This is a very cheap, high performance super Mini. Economy is outstanding with 80mpg+ on a run I am only selling it because I bought a Clubman. I love this little hatch with its great performance and handling; it is a joy to drive in the Surrey lanes. But I needed a bit more room as I carry equipment for work. The rear seats were more or less constantly folded down.
