This Range Rover was always my dream P38. I have searched for one for many years in this spec. I fancied a 'Bordeaux' spec P38 (which only came in the 2.5 and 4.0 engines) but then I found this, which is a higher spec 'Vogue' but finished in the same beautiful colour combination. It is finished in Alveston Red Metallic with matching red carpets and red piping on the beige leather upholstery. It is a year 2000 4.6 Vogue. The head gaskets have been replaced by one of its previous owners (so my mechanic told me), which is a common issue. I have had lots of work done to it including a full service done in December 2025 and its only covered 100 miles since then. It drives very well. The air suspension goes up and down as it should. There are no knocks or rattles. The tyres are all premium brand and have plenty of tread remaining. The bodywork is exceptionally clean for a car of this age. I have had the wheels refurbished by Prestige Wheels of Bredbury. The interior is very clean. The headlining is not sagging. There is some wear to the drivers seat bolster. I only have one key. The remote central locking is temperamental but works on the key. The heated seats do not work. The radio does not work but I have ordered a new radio head unit as I believe the old one was faulty. This is a very reluctant sale but in all honesty, I never get time to use it and I feel like somebody should get some pleasure from it.
