Description
ULEZ compliant Vauxhall Zafira Design 2005 125HP MOT'd to 27th Jan 2027
I have owned this for the last 7 years since 13/02/19 and although looking it's age it has been extremely reliable and is well maintained. I have all the Toomey Vauxhall main dealer invoices and service work lists up to 54000 miles and it has been regularly serviced and maintained by me since and I have all the bills for parts bought and my own service record. I did an oil and filter service in Nov 2025 at 84421 miles and I have also recently replaced the Cambelt/ Water Pump/ Aux belt and tensioner (i have the bills and see pic of old belts, pump etc removed. Runs and drives superb I have also fitted a funky pop info screen modern bluetooth phone connectable radio, DAB, handsfree etc (see pics)
In the last few years the majority of the exhaust system has been replaced and the pre and post Cat o2 sensors. Discs have been replaced all round. Battery was replaced in Dec 2023 and numerous other small bits. The last MOT advisory was that the rear coil springs were corroded and parking brake not working correctly and a bald tyre. I replaced the rear coil springs with new and replaced both rear brake calipers with new as these operate the handbrake and it has a brand new tyre.
This is our spare run around household car and used by me to take the dogs out, DIY, cycling trips away with pals etc. (I have taken the roof rack off which could carry 4 bikes and I have yet to remove the rear cycle carrier mount that goes on the towbar. I have worked in London for the last 20 odd years and used public transport but I have just been sent on a 3 day a week contract to Cambridge. If you check the MOT history online you'll see it was on 85976 and is now on 88943 and those 3000 miles I did in 6 weeks. I get paid business mileage of 45p a mile and it was a no brainer that I needed an economical diesel which will pay for itself in no time at 2000 miles a month so I have just upgraded to a diesel estate. Sad to see this workhorse go which I would have kept but for the above circumstances.
Bad points are a small dent in the front bumper see pics, numerous scratches all round 4 holes drilled through the centre of the roof rack where my cycle carrier bolted on and interior is showing it's age. Central locking works all round but only with the key turned in the door, old style not with the press buttons on the keys. I have the V5 in my name and 2 keys
