My mothers VW Golf 2.0 tdi bluemotion, finished in midnight blue metallic, complemented with charcoal cloth interior. Having the 140bhp engine tied to a manual 6 speed transmission, it provides the perfect combination of great fuel economy, yet providing surprisingly brisk performance. She has owned this car for the last 5 years and has had it regularly serviced, although hasn't kept on top of the service history. Prior to her ownership, the car had a full VW service history which is documented up until 2018. There are a few invoices for the last few years. The timing belt and water pump were both replaced in 2023, but would need to dig out any paperwork she may have. The car has recently had a service and brake pads and discs. Having the Match edition spec, the car comes with a very good standard specification. This car also has heated seats which work fantastic, as well as park pilot. Condition wise the bodywork is not the best, but certainly not the worst I've seen for the age and miles. The parking sensors currently do not work, and the oil light intermittently comes on, even though level is fine. It's been like for the last 3 years and hasn't caused any issues while driving. To summarise, this is a cheap but still very reliable VW Golf. I've just driven it on a 350 mile round trip and still feels solid and the engine is great.
