Description

Peugeot 2008 1.2 PureTech - March 2015 - 66,9xx miles - 1 Owner - 35 Road Tax Well maintained Peugeot 2008, first registered March 2015. Originally supplied and used as a demonstrator vehicle by KAP Folkestone until April 2016, then purchased by my wife - the only private owner since. 66,9xx miles (low for age) MOT until 26 April 2026 35 annual road tax 2 keys Full handbook pack HPI clear No warning lights The car starts, runs and drives very well. It has been a reliable daily vehicle and has never required any repairs, only routine maintenance such as oil changes, filters, tyres and MOTs. No unexpected issues, no warning lights, no hidden faults in day-to-day use. Interior and exterior are clean and well kept for its age. Comfortable, economical and practical small SUV - ideal for commuting or family use, with low running costs. Important - full transparency (price reflects this): Timing belt (wet belt) has not yet been replaced - recommended as part of future maintenance Service (oil & filters) is now due Light rattling noise when driving over uneven roads General wear and tear consistent with age To be completely clear: the car drives well as it is, but like any vehicle of this age, it will require some routine maintenance going forward. I prefer to be upfront rather than "prepare" the car cosmetically/mechanically just to increase the price. I have already received an offer of around 1900 from a trade buyer. That would be the quick, easy option. However, I am listing it privately to achieve a fairer price for what the car actually is. I could have spent approximately 250 on a fresh service and minor prep work to make it more "retail ready" and justify a higher asking price. Instead, I chose not to invest further and to reflect that directly in the price - giving the next owner full control over what they want to do with the car. This is why the car represents a genuine opportunity: you are effectively buying it at close to trade value, with the upside of a private sale price, and the flexibility to sort the maintenance yourself rather than paying dealer margins. If you are looking for a perfect, fully prepped car, this is not it. If you are looking for a solid, honest, well-maintained vehicle at a price that makes sense, this is very hard to beat. Sold as seen, tried and approved. No warranty given or implied. Buyers are welcome to inspect, test drive and carry out any checks.
