It's time to find a new home for my Escort. This car was restored over an 11 year period and was subject to lots of new or refurbished parts. New front wings, floor pans x4, drip rails, rear wheel arches, the chassis has Never been welded and the inner wings are original and perfect. New inner and outer sills were also fitted. The engine is the original 1.3 bottom end with an XR2 1.6 cylinder head. Twin Webber, Ashley exhaust and manifold. Head was converted for unleaded by T&L Engineering of Bedford. Samco hoses, custom alloy radiator. The interior was reupholstered in ORIGINAL black Beta Cloth and piped orange by Tony Baldassere of Bedford. Uprated discs and callipers on the front, standard drums on the back. New alloys and tyres, only done around 1000 miles. New front screen and RS screen rubbers front and rear. Door cards are black Ghia. Headlining is original and good condition. New headlights and converted to round grill. Car was re sprayed in calipso blue and could do with some small touch ups in a couple of areas. New front and rear black bumper's fitted, front I'd original Frord, rear is re manufactured item. Carpet is original black. The car I has not been used much in the last 3 years and requires a little fettling. This has been reflected in the asking price.
