The engineers at Mercedes-Benz started working on the W210 a mere three years after the introduction of the W124. That means the W210 was being thought about in 1988 - remarkable forethought really. Unlike the W124, however, the W210 would be offered as a saloon and estate only, with coupe and cabrio duties being handled by the forthcoming CLK model. The design, with its big quad headlights, left people a little confused at launch. It was a softer, more rounded proposition than the somewhat angular and brutal W124, but it was very of its time, and it certainly grew into its looks. This immaculate one is in fantastic condition inside, outside and underneath, comes with tons of invoices for every penny thats been spent on the car mostly Mercedes main dealer then Merc specialist, and only in February this year I have changed ALL fluids inc diff oil, transmission fluid/service, engine oil, brake fluid power steering fluid + all filters, ie, fuel, oil, transmission, air & cabin filters, also had new wipers, a/c regas, also had new battery on November last year. The service history is extensive, all in many matching poly pockets, also lots of old MOT certs, all owners books/manuals are present too. Only only just turned 65000 miles, car drives so nicely with a silky smooth gear change. The black leather seats are unmarked, with the back seats barely been sat in. The audio is Mercedes radio cassette with CD changer in the boot. The Michelin spare tyre still has about 7 mm of tread, also still present is the white gloves you'd put on if you have to change a wheel. These W & S210's are probably the last of the "Over engineered" Mercs, the T/ Estate is very rare in this country, even more so in this condition with such low miles with such extensive history.
