*** Mk7 Golf R *** Fresh MOT end of Feb and major service start of Feb *** Lapiz Blue *** No swaps or Px *** For sale here is my Mk7 Golf R in lapiz blue. The car had an MOT at the end of February with 3 advisories, one for rear brake pads (now changed) and two for tyres (both on 3mm still so plenty tread). The car has full service history (13 stamps). It just received a major service at the start of February on 94550 miles and has been serviced around every 5k in my ownership. The only modifications are black wing mirror caps, wind deflectors, carbon fibre arch guards and a resonator delete which, in my opinion, makes the car sound how it should (I still have the original resonator in storage and will mail it if wanted). I've spent a lot of time and money getting this car mechanically sound (full list of works in my ownership with dates and mileages in last photo) but unfortunately I just don't use the car anymore since moving to Edinburgh. I've always taken a 'while I'm in there' attitude when fixing something so that's why the list is so long. It's had most of the usual issues fixed already (thermostat housing, water pump, camshaft magnets, transfer box and rear differential). Now for the bad parts, in addition to the expected age related marks, there's corrosion on the arches, some lacquer peel, dent on the passenger side front wing and marks where a spoiler was at some point. Three of the alloys could also do with a refurb. On the interior, the driver side bolster looks its age and there's a hole in it. I've tried to be as honest as possible and everything I know about is shown in the photos and the car is priced accordingly. The bodywork was next on the list to sort (hopefully under the VW corrosion guarantee) but as above, I just don't use it anymore.
