Sadly listed is my engine damaged 2020 Abarth 595, which has been immaculately kept. I purchased the car from Mangoletsi, and it has always been very well looked after. At the time the engine issue occurred the car had covered only 24,000 miles. It comes with full service history, along with all books and paperwork. The interior, paintwork, and alloy wheels are all in excellent condition and completely damage free. The car has always been maintained properly throughout my ownership. Unfortunately the car has recently developed major engine damage. It now makes a loud ticking noise from the top end of the engine. The car still starts, runs, and turns over, and i have been told it still has compression. However, it most likely has some form of Major top end damage or worse which is causing the ticking noise. Because of this, i simply cannot afford to have it off the road for weeks while it is repaired, so I have reluctantly decided to list it as a running car with engine damage. The MOT has just expired and the car is not currently roadworthy due to the engine damage. However the car has a fully clean previous MOT history with no failures.Within the last two months the car has had four brand new Bridgestone tyres. also comes with a full service kit, including 4l of Abarth Selenia oil, a new oil filter and new NGK spark plugs, as unfortunately the engine issue happened just before the car was due its yearly service. The alloy wheels are in perfect condition as I had them recently refurbished. The paintwork is swirl free and in great condition overall, with only one small stone dent near the fuel filler cap. The bonnet, roof, and spoiler have also been wrapped, although the paintwork underneath is in perfect condition. My Abarth would be ideal for someone looking for a project. It could be repaired, fitted with a replacement engine, or even used as a base for a forged build.If I had the time and money I would honestly go down this route myself, which is why it is painful to sell the car in its current condition. The car is being listed with known major top end engine damage. Although it does currently start and run, it will need to be collected on a trailer or recovery truck, as I cannot guarantee how long the engine will continue to run without failing completely or causing further damage. I am also unsure of the full extent of the engine damage, so I cannot make any claims as to exactly what will be required to repair it. Sold as seen.
