This special edition Octavia vRS 230 is in fantastic condition and benefits from full service history, a low owner count and 2 keys. It has recently been serviced and passed its MOT, so they're not due until February 2027. Two new Goodyear front tyres have just been fitted. The normal 220bhp mk3 Octavia vRS is already a brilliant car and this '230' model features some very desirable extras. If you are familiar with the Performance Pack on the mk7 Golf GTI, the 230 has a similar set of upgrades. These include an extra 10bhp, VAQ locking differential up front, sports exhaust, heated electric memory seats with a more colourful vRS logo, front and rear parking sensors, puddle lights, electric folding mirrors, 19" Xtreme alloy wheels and a black styling pack for the grille, door sill kickplates, mirrors and exhaust tips. In addition to the already generous 230 spec, this car is also fitted with park assist and intelligent headlights with auto main beam. This car is fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox, increasingly rare on a petrol vRS and especially so on a 230, most of which were sold with DSG. It is a sweet-shifting 'box, toosurpringly so for a car from the Volkswagen Group. On a 230 the wheels are usually gloss black with diamond cut detailing. As usual with diamond cut wheels, these started to corrode after a couple of years, so I had them refurbished in Shadow Chrome at Raw Wheels in York. The bodywork is finished in Moon White metallic. This car has been an absolute joy to own and I will be sad to see it go. It is ridiculously practical with a huge boot and generous rear legroom. It has all the tech you need and nothing more. It is happy cruising on the motorway returning over 40mpg at 70mph. It is also happy blasting down your favourite back road bringing a smile to your face. A superb all rounder!
