Description

Price reflects the significant investment in both maintenance and upgrades to create a unique and tastefully upgraded 997 with all original parts also supplied. NOTE CAR IS IN STORAGE - Viewing will take time to arrange for serious interest only. Averaging 2.3k or so miles per year, I have invested in whatever the car needed with specialists (RPM, 9E, Northway, Copse, Centre Gravity) having all services done and .. if you are reading this as a non 911 owner - as my car got to around 10-12 years old, so many replacement items need to be done (and have been - see below).. From fuel pump, coolant lines, suspension components, the big 12yr PDK service, and to sort a couple of leaky dampers - full new OE bilsteins. So consider any 'newer' 911 will hit bigger bills come 10-12 years old). What are you getting - A perfectly sorted, immaculate condition Gen2 997 3.8S with PDK. Uniquely styled and non repeatable - the carbon ducktail is no longer made, getting the sport classic OE brake light panel is now very hard. Every investment made that needed to be made. 55k gentle miles with weekend sprints into the Cotswolds. No track days, never launched. You get all of the upgrades people want to make on a 997 gen 2 (other than the car hi-fi which I barely use and listen to the engine!). You get ALL of the original parts - so no future modification value risk - return to factory. 6 years of ownership with 20k invested in upgrades and maintenance 2019 - Car purchase 2020 - RPM upgrades, paint and service items - 7.1k 2020 - Enhancement detail, ceramic coating and Xpel Ultimate Plus PPF on wheel arches and new rear arches. New graphics fitted. 745. 2021 - November - High Pressure fuel pump failure requiring recovery, replacement and coolant flex and crossover pipes replaced - 2.1k 2022 - DSC Controller upgrade - 1.3k from 9e. 2022 - August main service inc PDK, Copse Automotive - 2.4k 2022 - Suspension refresh, 4 new lower control arms, ARB drop links, 4 brand new OE Bilstein B4 PASM dampers - 4.3k 2023 - New Battery 2024 - Wheels refurbished, machined lip, two new rear tyres (Conti SC7). Note the rears do to match the original Pirelli fronts, and while most would complain, the reality is I have had no issues and never broken front or rear traction ever). - 960 2024 - December Minor Service Northway Porsche - 740. 2025 - Upgraded Engine mounts (better sound, better feel, but a little more nvh. Original old mounts with the car also). - 450
