--- WHY THIS CAR IS FOR SALE --- I bought this 207 CC in summer 2023 so my parents both in their 70s could finally experience driving a convertible. They loved it. Roof down from spring through autumn every year, winters in the EV. The problem is my dad's joints now make the manual gearbox painful, and getting in and out of a low car isn't easy at 70. So it needs a new owner who'll actually enjoy it. The car has been used gently. Never tracked, never thrashed. --- WHAT'S GOOD --- Folding hard-top works perfectly every single time. No error lights, no hesitation, no drama. Drives well throughout. Engine pulls cleanly, clutch bites well, gearbox is smooth across all gears. Interior in solid condition. No rips, no broken trim, no warning lights on the dash. Alloy wheels in good condition. Fresh MOT will be completed before handover. Buyer collects with a clean ticket. --- WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BUYING --- I want to be upfront about two things: 1. Oil consumption. The engine uses approximately 1 litre per 1500 - 2000 miles through a crankshaft seal. There is no oil on the driveway and no smoke, it simply needs a top-up between services. This will not cause an MOT failure. A garage repair is possible but not cheap I have priced this into the asking price rather than fix it myself. 2. Rear parking sensors occasionally show a warning that clears itself. Does not affect driving in any way. Likely a dirty or slightly faulty sensor. That is genuinely everything.
