2014 '14' Jeep Compass 2.2 CRD 4WD Limited SUV Only 88,000 miles from new with a good service history file. Current MOT valid until 12/02/2027. Runs and drives superb and a great all rounder with the excellent newer Mercedes 2.1 Diesel engine which is still used in modern Mercedes. The car is cheap because unfortunately it collided with a deer back in January which has caused a crack to the bumper. It has been taped and is safe and secure and has passed it's MOT since. There are a few bumpers in colour on Ebay for around 100 to repair the damage. Or the car can be used as is. It's not bad damage but it is there and in the photographs. As in the last photo Auto traders Valuation is around 3200 so I think the asking price is very fair taking this into account. Mechanical Condition Drives really well. Engine fires up straight away from cold. Sounds sweet and raspy and zings along really well. No engine warning lights. A well known reliable engine. No odd temperatures it sits in the middle where it should. Just done a 140 mile journey in it drove without fault. Good performance also being the 161bhp version. Clutch and gearbox feel good as do the steering and brakes. Cruises along nicely at motorway speeds. No unwanted vibrations etc. Tyres are all matching Bridgestone's. The handbrake holds with no issues. There is lots of paperwork showing the maintenance over the years and the last big service was in September 2025. Overall the car feels very happy mechanically and I would happily drive it anywhere. Vehicle Condition In very good condition overall apart from the above mentioned front bumper. Bodywork is shiny and straight and a lovely colour a sort of Blue/Grey. Nice alloy wheels all in good condition. A smart looking car I think and a bit different from all the run of the mill SUV's. A few expected wear and tear marks but nothing that you wouldn't expect for a 2014. Interior is again good condition with everything present and working. Again a few expected marks could do with a deep clean if you want it spotless but also fine as is.
