Description

Great car that I'm selling only because I have the opportunity to take on a relative's larger car. Priced according to Autotrader's recommendation. I've owned this car since January 2018, when it had around 20,000 miles. I believe there was only 1 owner before me. I've used it mainly for long motorway journeys. Almost no pottering around town or sitting in stop-start traffic. It has never had any big problems. The biggest expenses for me have been new tyres (end of 2024) and a new battery (end of 2025). It has been serviced every single December, at the same time as the MOT, although I am still trying to find some of the service documents. My kids were young when I bought this car and one of the attractive features for me was the big rear windows - great for bored kids on long journeys. Lots of legroom in the back too - my (tall) son is complaining that the Volvo estate we now have has less room in the back. Small but very useful feature that has saved me many times while camping etc: you can charge your phone from the lighter socket even when the car is not running :) Spare wheel! (Increasingly rare in cars these days - don't get fobbed off with no wheel and a repair kit) 4 new tyres Nov 2024, under warranty until Nov 2027. New battery Dec 2025. MOT until December 2026. A couple of dents (visible in the photos) that happened very slowly: driver's door (reversed into a low bollard) and across the Skoda text on the back (reversed into a cable). Yes, I am an idiot. Scratch on the bonnet which doesn't go through all the paintwork - happened in 2018 and hasn't rusted. It has never towed, despite having a towbar. I leave the towbar on to protect the paintwork in case anyone parks too close. This car is spacious and comfortable, but no-frills! There are no bells and whistles. That has suited me well - it's given me peace of mind that there's less to go wrong.
