Description

2005 987.1 Porsche Boxster S 5 owners; originally supplied new from Porsche Kendal Mileage: 63,553 Options (As confirmed by Porsche Hatfield, with enclosed documentation): Arctic Silver Metallic paint, with Metropole Blue roof and Ocean Blue leather interior 19" Carrera S wheels Climate control, heated electric seats, bi-xenon headlights Porsche Communication Management with telephone module, integrated navigation (DVD) and 6-disc CD autochanger Porsche Sound Package Multifunction steering wheel Rear parking sensors Top-tinted windscreen and wind deflector I've owned this car for nearly six years, with it often being a second car. I've had it SORN'd and garaged over winter. Selling due to an expanding family, and two seats are no longer enough. It comes with an extensive documented service history, including a previous sale invoice from 2010, and full book pack. Autoglym LifeShine was applied in 2010. The condition is excellent throughout, with some minor paint marks at the front which are common due to the low front. It has been routinely serviced by Porschcare in Stevenage (Specialist Porsche and Mclaren independent). I had it checked for bore scoring when I bought it in 2020, with no evidence of this (uncommon on these engines anyway). I also had it undersealed professionally shortly afterwards, as it was immaculate and worth the extra protection (photos shown, and invoice included). I've had bluetooth installed so your own phone can be used (the on-board phone system needs a separate SIM card) and also allows music/podcasts. This uses the CD input, hence the CD multichanger isn't currently connected, but it is all easily reversible. I've had wire mesh guards installed over the front radiators, as these are vulnerable to stones damaging the radiator and air conditioner pipes. They sit behind the plastic and are very subtle, and minimise the risk of damage to the (otherwise exposed) radiators or air con pipes. Photos shown. Finally, I had the Porsche passenger seat Isofix mounting bar installed, as was a factory option from new. The car can therefore be used with a child seat, so long as the passenger airbag is disabled (switch on the passenger dashboard). All the associated documentation is included. Other recent work: 2025 - K&N air filter, new battery, front bump stops, top mounts and bearings, front bonnet gas struts 2023 - New discs and pads all round 2022 - Water pump 2021 - Alternator Located in Bury St Edmunds.
