Reluctant sale of my 2006 Jaguar X-Type Estate. 'Classic' model - Sport Trim. Owned since 19th February 2010, at 18,500 miles. First Owner purchased on 27th April 2006. Current Mileage 162,800. I was planning to keep this car but have been persuaded to get a newer car by my wife and in a moment of weakness have bought a Honda. The Jaguar X-type is not a 'Mondeo in Drag', it was a re-engineered vehicle, admittedly with parts from the Ford and Volvo parts bin. This car still drives superbly and purrs nicely, but bodywork shows signs of age. Sills are in good condition, a well know issue. These cars have an AJV6 engine - AJ stands for Advanced Jaguar (originally a Porsche design but built by Ford). Good Uniroyal (Continental) RainSport Tyres, Full size spare. Rear bumper protector trim. Jaguar floor mats. Front Grill replaced with a Stainless Grille. 'Hatchback' Upper window - very handy. Recent service (this month) included: Oil and Filter change. I have only ever used Castrol Magnatec 5w30 A5 oils - it says Castrol on the filler cap. Bank 1 Downstream O2 sensor changed to clear code . New IMT O Rings. New Vacuum pipe inlet manifold to Fuel Rail. New Inlet Manifold vacuum pipe O-rings. - Codes cleared and no issues. Air Filter and Pollen Filter changed last Year. Recent work includes: Rear Subframe rubbed down and painted with anti-rust paint. New Front Drop Links. New Rear Drop Links and anti-roll bar bushes. Front Brake Disks and Pads. New struts in upper tailgate glass. Previous work New Battery in last 2 years. New Air Conditioning Compressor 3 years. Recon Alternator 4 Years. New front Windscreen.
