Very difficult decision to sell this car but times change and I'd like to move this car on. Since purchase in 2020 this has been maintained absolutely no expense spared and has also had a fair amount of restoration work thrown in for good measure. Over 9.5k has been spent and 100's of hours put into this car. Don't let the mileage fool you this is a car that will go on for a long time to come. Here's a by no means exhaustive list of jobs carried out during my ownership:
Replace cam cover gasket
Replace rear brake callipers
Replace rear and front brake back plates
Recondition rear ARB and fit new bushes
Replace front ARB and bushes
Replace Tie Rod Ends X2
Replace rear track control arms X2
Replace rear upper and lower wishbone arms
Replace rear swing arm ball joints X3
Replace Front & rear springs
Replace rear swing arms X2
Replace rear trailing arms X2
Replace rear brake line subframe part
Replace front brake flexi hoses X2
Overhaul rear subframe and treat with POR-15
Replace both intercooler pipes
Replace HPFP cam follower
Replace oil pick up pipe
Replace rear wiper motor
Replace rear hatch wiring loom
Replace rear brake light centre and both rear lights
Replace both front wings and repair work in other areas
Partial re-spray X2
Replace air con compressor, condenser and ancillary parts
Replace clutch and flywheel
Replace water pump
Replace cam belt and tensioners
Replace brake fluid and coolant
Replace both CV joint covers
Replace 4 Coil packs
Recondition BBS wheels
A,B,C Pillar and Headlining re-trim
Leather trim deep clean and re-sealing
Replace O/S window regulator
That's not even half of the work either I or a trusted garage have carried out. I've always replaced parts with genuine VAG or in rare instances parts made by the OEM. The file is comprehensive. Oil and filters have been replaced at 5-7k mile intervals, it's always been serviced well. Comes with Pilot sport 5 tyres which are transformative in handling.
The bad, the turbo is a bit tired as to be expected of this mileage. Some minor cosmetics from daily use. I've not got round to replacing the cam chain and tensioners but I have the genuine parts.
