Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 4 GSR 1996. I am reluctantly selling my Evo 4, I have owned this car since 2012 but don't have time to use it as much as I would like so feel the time is right to let someone else appreciate a Japanese classic. I have just had car MOT'd with oil and filter swapped today (25/3/26). Car drives as it should, it's quick but not silly fast and handles superbly. Last time it was mapped was when I had a stainless 3" scorpion turbo back exhaust fitted but it's a bit too loud for me. Was running 334bhp and 316Nm with print out. Car has been serviced, repaired by GR Performance in Rotherham. Run on v power only For a 30 year old car I'd say is in really good condition inside and out and is mechanically sound and solid underneath. Good bits: Good body work Toad cat 1 alarm, Evo 6 interior Kumho 215/40/17 tyres fitted in 2024 and still look new. Dump valve Boost gauge Since I have owned the car I have had the following work done at GR Performance with invoices: HKS air filter Evo 8 turbo Walbro 255 fuel pump Evo 5 ecu, injectors 3 port valve 3" scorpion stainless turbo back exhaust Front and rear brembo calipers. New front and rear brembo grooved disks New performance friction 2 front pads New OE rear pads Inside in excellent condition CD player with sub and amp in boot Disklock Last major service carried out in 2022 at GR and included the following work with receipts: Gates timing belt, Gates power grip ballance shaft belt, Tensioner, Idler pulley, Tensioner pulley, Water pump, Coolant swap, Engine oil and filter, Gearbox oil, Transfer box oil , Rear diff oil, AYC oil, Spark plugs, Track rod ends, Front ball joint boots, Pair of outer lower arm bushes, 4 wheel alignment. I have lots of receipts for past work. I think the car has ohlins suspension but not 100% sure but it is stiff and I have to dodge the pot hols and be careful of high speed bumps as the exhaust can catch sometimes. Locking wheel nuts. I'm in no rush to sell the car so won't be selling it cheap. Bad bits:Speedo not working correctly (not showing correct speed and fluctuating), had this issue resolved with new speed converter and plugs cleaned but has recently started playing up again. Starter motor making a noise (not fully disengaging when staring) AYC light sometimes comes on in hot weather when driven hard. Some minor age related bits need attention like wheels, stone chips, wiper arms, window surrounds bit rusty. Viewing welcome but please don't waste my time
