Description

Defender 110 pickup. 2.4 Puma 2009 in Galway Green. We've had this vehicle for 2 years. It has been maintained to the highest possible standard. It comes complete with a Flatdog roof rack and double-ladder, as well as an iKamper 4 man tent worth 4000 and matching awning. The pickup canvas benefits from a custom-built and lockable aluminium internal canopy. It also has a leisure battery and 240v sockets fitted which recharge from the alternator. It has upgraded LED headlights, Safari brand snorkel, upgraded suspension, tow bar, Moto-Lita leather steering wheel, side mounted work light, and internal pickup work light. The owner prior to us buying it had major parts replaced including: gearbox, differential, front and rear diffs, 4 wheel bearings, half shafts. On the engine side it had 4 injectors replaced, new battery, diesel pump solenoids, thermostat, radiator, v belt and idler pulleys. The wheels had been refurbished: new BFG AT tyres, brake pads and discs all 'round, full poly bush kit. Since we've had it, it's had a new clutch, master and slave cylinder, starter motor, wiper boxes, and heater pump. MOT until December 2026 and drives perfectly with the bodywork in near pristine condition bar some stone chips and minor scuffs. Interior is immaculate and comes with heated seats, heated windshield, waterproof seat covers, and OEM floor mats. Last full service was in December 2025 from Engine 710, one of the Scotland's finest Land Rover specialists. This is a great opportunity to buy a tried and tested Defender which will serve you well for many years to come. Myself and my family have been on many camping expeditions in "Daphne the Defender", as well as music festivals and we are sad to be saying goodbye to her. If you are after a camping/expedition Defender, I will be happy to include the travel fridge and Primus Kinjia stove which has a custom built checker plate housing in the pickup section. We are selling as we want a TD5 project Defender, so will happily consider a part exchange for a beaten up old TD5 110 and maybe even a 300Tdi 110. Serious enquiries only please.
