Description
A cool cabriolet from the end of an era.
This 1989 Carrera 3.2 from the very end of production embodies everything we love about the final air cooled cars of the 1980s - characterful, engaging, and completely usable. It’s the ideal choice for classic roof-down adventures and enjoyment.
This is a Porsche we know well. It still wears its Adrian Crawford shield emblems on the front wings from when he supplied it to the 3rd keeper in 2012, who subsequently took it to the Channel Island of Guernsey where it enjoyed a relaxed and unhurried life. Eight years, but just 4,500 miles later, the car came back to Williams Crawford for resale, and we found a new home for it in November 2020.
It has been cared for in our workshop ever since - we have taken care of MOTs, servicing and maintenance. The most recent service, which included spark plugs, was completed here in April 2025 at 73,276 miles.
The history file of invoices, receipts and MOT certificates illustrates ongoing care. The service book contains a total of 19 service stamps from both main dealers and respected Porsche independent specialists.
The Slate grey metallic is a colour we rarely see on these cars and combined with a black convertible roof and dark grey leather interior, the look is stylish and timelessly elegant. The electrically adjustable seats have black ‘Z’ order piping for some extra definition and, unusually, this Porsche also has air conditioning and cruise control.
As an ‘89, it has the wider 8 inch Fuchs at the rear and this example also benefits from a factory optioned short shifter for the G50 5 speed manual ‘box.
Supplied with a Porsche COA, original book pack with service book and driver's manual, double keys, tool roll, spare wheel and compressor plus our own classic Porsche warranty.
New photos and video will be uploaded shortly. In the meantime, these previous images will give you a great idea of how the car looks.
