MR2 Roadster 5 Speed Manual (Pre-Facelift) Mechanically and structurally sound but does need cosmetic refurbishment as detailed and visible in pictures. Has some service history detailed in original owner handbook pack with supplying dealer service book. Much of the cars early maintenance is Main dealer with some later independent services recorded. Interior and original leather trimmed seats are in very good condition with minimal age related wear and abrasions. Has genuine fitted floor mats included, 1 working remote fob and one 'Master' key with no remote and still has original key number tag too. Paintwork is in need of refurbishment with most panels suffering from the common issue of flaking clear coat lacquer. Some panels show signs of previous light repairs. Paintwork has crazed and cracked on bonnet and front bumper which does not show too well on the pictures. Approaching 24 years old this car does have some age related wear and tear including minor panel distortions in places, please satisfy yourself of its cosmetic condition by arranging an inspection or ask me to send you more pictures if so desired. Soft top fabric is original and has become very brittle causing it to split and rip in several places which have been patched to protect the car from water ingress however the hood really does need to be replaced or fitting of a hardtop to protect it and enhance its cosmetic presentation too. I have owned this car since 2022 and it has had regular oil changes with no sign of excess oil consumption, I suspect this has the later modified pistons already fitted which helps reduce oil use. Other than the fitting of a manual aerial and lowered suspension springs all round, this car appears to be in pretty much standard specification with Leather trim and Air conditioning (which currently does need to be regassed but I have had working in the past) Original specification radio/Cassette/Single CD controls do not always work and the display goes off randomly, however the optional joystick control on the steering column operates radio and CD perfectly well. MIL is on due to an aftermarket catalytic convertor causing poor emissions and P0420 Catalytic convertor efficiency code (something most models using this 1ZZ-FE engine suffer from) Private sale, No Warranty given or implied, Located North Manchester
