Time to sell the family car that we have owned for the last 12 years. Bought at 4 years and within 5 year warranty. It has been serviced at Toyota Northallerton ever since. The idea was to tow a caravan so I had a removable Witter tow bar fitted. It only ever pulled the caravan 6 times. It was handed down to us from my in-laws and was a shed. However, the Rav4 proved to be such a good all round car. Seats drop completely flat and it has been a completely reliable vehicle. Never needed any repair or work other than suspension and brakes or things that rust. It has covered the same 10k every year so is low to average mileage for its age. I've just bought a Lexus NX and will collect on Saturday. So the car has not been sat around at all. It has all receipts in folder. Four good tyres and all brakes replaced including calipers, slider kits, and the handbrake shoes within the last two years. It has also had the cable done a couple of years ago. The car has just been into Toyota Northallerton today and passed it's MOT it has also had it's service. So it is literally good to go for a full year.
