Selling on behalf of Father in Law. Any viewings will be at his home where the car is kept and registered. The time has come for the BMW to go and for someone to enjoy some 90's nostalgia with the lovely straight 6 528! As you will see from MOT history car has done minimal mileage over the years, 2-3000 with it mainly being used as a Sunday driver. I drove it yesterday and it is a lovely drive, just typical old school BMW and if I had the space would keep it for myself. Due to being started and run fairly minimally he had a battery 'kill switch' fitted which has preserved the battery and the car started first time. Inside it has been very well looked after, the leather, considering the age is in very good condition, there's a little mark on the rear seat but no rips or tears. All the head lining is nice and tight, all gauges worked on the hours drive we went on and the air con was ice cold! The nostalgic tape deck even if it didn't work is just lovely but it does!! The wood appeared uncracked around the dash and doors. I did note the ash tray did not clip back in (image shown), would assume a fairly easy job and the drivers window didn't work, it's clicking from what I can hear but I am no mechanic. Outside again is in nice condition, would love to spend a day and give it a full clean but think the new owner would enjoy that in the sunshine. Being nearly 30 years old there are a couple of little bits but no major scratches or dents. Small rust spot on bonnet edge, the passenger front wing would benefit a re-spray and the passenger front door is a little hazy but may polish up. The 2 roof runners do have some lacquer peel and the tailgate has a couple of light scratches (all shown in images), plus a small ding on drivers door, again, shown in image. This is me being pedantic but also honest. Overall the car is in a very nice condition with most 'repairs' being minor jobs and compared to a couple that I have seen advertised lately knocks spots off of them. There is also a folder full of various invoices along with previous MOT's, even have 1 of the old embossed ones in the see through wallet! As above, the vehicle will be at his home however it will either be myself or his Daughter doing the viewings as he doesn't want the 'agg' but we do both work and have kids so will not be available at the drop of a hat nor viewing at 9PM on a Sunday.
