This unique MX5 Mark 3 is in very good condition internally and externally. Last autumn I spent over a thousand pounds on a new Pioneer Head Unit; which incorporates a reversing camera, together with DAB digital sound, Apple Car Play, Google maps and the volume and mode control can be operated from the steering wheel; which also boasts cruise control. The speakers are Bose, so the sound is really crisp, precise and impressive; even with the top down, you can hear the music above the road noise and your passenger's conversation! I have had graphite grey stripes added to the bonnet and boot, together with a Union flag on the petrol flap. These are only wrapped on, so easily removed if this is not your style?! I'm a proud Brit and MX owner and belong to the South West MX5 Owners' Club who meet regularly for rallies and my (Brilliant)Black Mark 3 is much admired. It has been professionally polished in recent weeks and is in impressive condition inside and out with real black leather seats, trim, steering wheel, hand brake and arm rests. All four tyres were new last September and have only travelled about 4000 miles since. It has cruise control on the right hand side of the steering wheel and the mode and volume controls for the head unit on the left hand side. Both seats can be heated and the USB connector is in the rear compartment. You can also use a USB/C cigarette lighter connector for phone and I watch. With only 77k miles recorded, it is well under mileage for a car of just over 13 years old. I have most of the service history and if you are an MX5 aficionado, you will know how reliable the Mazda engine is and this one is top of the range, with its 2.0i Sport Tech engine and 161 bhp, that delivers 0-62 in just over 7 seconds.I had a new windscreen fitted last October , a new battery in the autumn and both grommets under the scuttle are new. I expect considerable interest in this vehicle because for obvious reasons there isn't another MX5 like it on the roads. I am open to offers just below the asking price but expect to recoup a price near to it. Mechanically there are no revisions to its capacity or original mechanics. As with all MX 5's it's a real driver's car. My reason for selling? I am upgrading to a newer 2019 Mark 4 model of similar spec. A more personalised video is available on request!
