A great project for someone! I have been driving it forty miles per day for weeks and it hasn't let me down. It cuts out at motorway speed, but starts again immediately with loss of power. So I've been driving it at 40-50 max for weeks, not ideal. Driving control system warning lights can come on at any point during any journey. Air con hasn't worked properly for years, fans are fine, it just takes an age to warm up. I haven't kept a record of services and work. The history is that I bought it from a Mazda dealership in 2014 and have added 100k to it. It was amazing, but now it is costing me money every MOT and this engine business is the final straw as I now have a family! It's a nice car, but I've bought a more practical vehicle for my family so looking to sell. It will need work. I will answer questions from anyone interested as honestly as I can. It works, but not how it once did. Maybe someone more mechanically able can bring back to somewhere near it's best.
