For sale is my 2006 Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TDI Sport. The car has just under 155,000 miles as of 28/03/2026 and will be used occasionally so mileage will increase marginally. Two owners (including myself), first owner kept until 2021. Given its age, it's very well equipped. When new, the car was optioned with the Winter Pack which comes with the following extras: - Cruise control - Front heated seats (work amazingly well) - Auto headlights - Auto wipers - Headlight washers - Rear parking sensors I have had this car for almost 5 years, using it on a daily basis and it has been nothing but extremely dependable. The car has recently had its cambelt, water pump, and auxiliary belt replaced, along with an oil change. The car has a 2.0 TDI BKD engine with 140hp (no diesel particulate filter) paired with a 6 speed manual transmission. This engine is great on fuel, a full tank of 52 litres will return 700 miles of motorway driving. During my ownership I have also replaced the following: - Both rear hubs with new wheel speed sensors - All brake discs and pads - Front dampers and springs - EGR valve - AC condenser - Bonnet latch - Diesel filter - Refurbished alloy wheels with 4 Michelin E Primacy tyres (excellent for hypermiling). There are a few minor scratches and dents on the front fenders, along with classic Golf MK5 gremlins including light corrosion on the front arches and sagging headliner, both of which could be easily addressed.
