Description
Ford Fiesta ST 2.0
Mk 6.5 Facelift model in 'Performance Blue'.
MOT until 18th June 2026
Owned by my wife and I (both in our 40s) for the last 13 years.
We first bought the car in 2013. Since then we've driven around 63k miles (less than 5k miles a year between us)
I'm assuming you already know what you're looking at so I'm not going to talk about how its a future classic and all that jazz.
We've love this car, but sadly its time to pass it on and get something more 'grown up'.
Good bits first:
- Its a completely standard car. No noisy exhausts, induction kits, or subwoofers. Not modified in any way.
- Overall great condition inside and out (apart of usual age related marks, shopping trolly dinks, etc)
- Runs perfectly, no smoke or rattles. Rock solid motor.
- Had a brand new clutch fitted about 5.5k miles ago (original one lasted 99k miles)
- Huge stack of receipts.
- Factory fitted racing stripes.
- HPI clear.
- Pretty much full service history (I can't find a couple of receipts).
Bad bits (its a 20 year old car!):
-Biggest one is the wheels. They're tatty. All four have light kerbing and the paint is coming off of them. Nothing structural to worry about, but they really could do with refurbing if you want it to look its best. Every year I intend to do them, and every year I don't get round to it.
-The 'Fiesta' badge came off. I have a new one on my desk in front of me right now. the rear ford badge and ST badge are a bit sun faded.
-One of the two cables that allows you to tilt the drivers seat forwards (so people can get in the back) has snapped. So you have to get in the back via the passenger side. I have a new cable sitting here in front of me. I never got round to fitting it because we never have anybody sitting int he back.
-The passenger window can be temperamental, sometimes it doesn't want to go down (although it seems to be ok last few weeks).
No test drives without you bringing your driving licence, proof of insurance, and full asking price in cash in my hand. I'm not letting anybody drive off with our car without insurance.
Whilst we're open to sensible offers, we have no intention to give it away for nothing.
My wife uses it every day to get to work, so the mileage will go up a bit.
We're near Sudbury in Suffolk (CO10)
Any questions, feel free to ask.
