Description

Ford Transit Tourneo LWB - Converted Day Van - Ex Ambulance - Ready for Adventure! MOT: 4/7/26 For sale is our Ford Transit Tourneo LWB, originally an ex-ambulance transport that we purchased during lockdown and converted into a Day Van. This was a personal project, built by a Qualified Ford Technician alongside a mechanic with 30+ years of experience so rest assured, everything's been done to a high standard. It's only covered around 5,000 miles during our ownership and has wanted for absolutely nothing. We're meticulous with maintenance if it even sneezes, it gets sorted. Selling due to lack of use and the inability to use it due to growing family! (2 front seats only and we have an infant) Mechanical & Maintenance: New engine fitted before our purchase details labelled under the bonnet All required and preventative repairs carried out as needed Recent major work includes: New Alloys with 4 All-Weather tyres (like new) Discs & pads all round Alternator Clutch, Slave Cylinder & Dual Mass Flywheel Thermostat Regular Servicing Underside fully undercoated to preserve chassis Drives faultlessly - needs nothing Bodywork: Acceptable condition for age - few age-related marks and a bit of surface rust, but nothing scary or structural. All doors work perfectly - rear barn doors open to 180. Day Van Conversion: Hand-built custom layout with modular sleeping setup Built-in storage bench (2 compartments) Bench forms one half of bed - additional boards bridge the gap to form full-width bed Custom made split mattress - arrange into sofa or full bed Floor lined with hard-wearing lino Roof slatted in timber with integrated LED spotlights Fully insulated and felt-lined Roof vent for fresh air Professionally tinted rear windows Hidden underfloor storage accessible via trap door (where external ramp was) Electrics: Extra-large leisure battery powered by split-charge relay (won't drain starter battery) 3000W inverter (can power a small electric hob no gas needed) Voltage display, 12V socket, and USBs 4 x LED roof spotlights (run independently of inverter) Cab Features: Sony Head Unit with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto Dash cam in rear-view mirror Air con Electric windows & mirrors Black-dyed headliner & roof shelf Some ambulance character remains (a few screw holes and an in-op reverse buzzer switch) Only selling due to lack of use having a newborn and only 2 seats, it sadly won't be getting the adventures it deserves.
