Description

83,572 miles. I year MOT expires 23/3/27. Two advisories for tyres which have both been replaced, so effectively now a full MOT with no advisories. This is an old car, but reliable and in good condition for age and price. Starts and runs perfectly. Above the waistline, it is very pretty, but below that waistline, there are surface scuffs and scrapes all round, mostly light, but a few more severe on passenger side. There are no rust issues resulting from these scrapes, and it is merely cosmetic. I have given it a quick once over with the vacuum, but it could benefit from a really good interior clean. It could do with a service soon, but the oil level is good and runs sweetly. If you want a new looking car, this is NOT for you. But if you want a large family sized cheap reliable workhorse for under 1K, this will serve you well. Good points: Low milage for age and price. Full MOT with no advisories. Ice cold air con. Good (not new) tyres on all four corners. Tow bar with old style 7 pin electrics. Tool kit plus spare number plate for towing. Clear headlamps (not fogged up like so many). Brand new battery. Central locking. Bad points. Rear driver's side electric window faulty. Deep scrapes to passenger side lower body, but not structural or causing any rust issues - the worst part is in a section of fibre glass body work only. Small dent in driver's door - only cometic. These cosmetic issues can all be seen in images 21, 22 & 23. The card works, but it has been cracked and the emergency key lost. This is for entry if the battery has gone completely dead, but there is another way to gain entry despite this, so is not a problem. It works perfectly to drive the car and the remote unlock button also works perfectly. The remote locking button is faulty, but it has automatic locking as you walk away, and can also be locked from inside before leaving the vehicle. There is also a spare card which does allow the car to be started and driven, but neither of the remote locking buttons work on this one. There are loads of videos on YouTube of how to fix these - I just never bothered as I didn't need the spare. The interior panel above the passenger glovebox has warped up in the sun - doesn't affect the car in any way. The stereo is locked out. I don't have the code. So to sum up, this is an old car with a few age related issues, but none that affect it's reliability or usability, and is good for cheap reliable transport, if that's what you want.
