Description

Renault Kangoo 1.6 Expression (with LPG conversion). This vehicle is now no longer required since I retired. I used one car for the weekly work, and this for the weekends. It had a number of interesting features including. Full size alloy spare wheel. All the usual Renault features. It also has a number of additional items. Liquid Propane Gas conversion. The installation by LPGA registered contractor and recorded on the LPGA register for insurance purposes. Tow hitch and 7 pin plug. Additional 12v reading lights for rear passengers and in the back area. Fitted mains vehicle battery charger in the vehicle for top up charge during cold weather. Reversing sensors and beeper! The mileage is approx. 130000 at the time of writing, but may rise as the vehicle is currently in use as a daily ride. Date of first registration was April 2005, I have owned it since 2018 and have the V5 LPG was added to the car in 2018. When I got it. It had approx. 64000 miles on it at the time. The LPG conversion has the gas tank under the car (where the spare tyre was fitted). This stops anyone stealing your spare wheel! The filler point is on the tow bar so that it can fill from either side and the system has been reliable for approx. 56k miles. With the current oil crisis this vehicle is a boon, but unfortunately it is one vehicle too many at our home. Check your local prices for LPG. I get it at an inflated 98p per litre. Due to rural location, the vehicle was modified so on cold mornings, you plug the car in (Lead supplied) and the interior warms up as there is a mains fan heater mounted inside. At the same time a mains charger will give the battery a little boost to help those cold starts! The interior is standard basic with rubber mats on the floor. It's just a practical small MPV seating 4 plus driver. It was part of a consignment that was for conversion to disabled adaption, but only had hand controls to the steering wheel, which was probably the first owner, and have long since been removed. It had high level cabinets, the original parcel shelf at the back is still very sound, and after over 20 years it has a few minor external dents, but overall looks reasonably presentable. Priced to sell and NO OFFERS THANK YOU. Come and have a look around if you want. Cash on collection from near Peterborough. (NO I don't deliver).
