Our trusty VW Jetta that is now sitting in the corner wearing it's MOT failure hat! I was going to sell it anyway, just now for less! So it would suit someone with the skills to fix it. MOT till 3rd April so after Thursday, it will need to be picked up on a trailer. I think I've had it for 4 years and it was a company car before that, so was well maintained (I have most of the paperwork somewhere) Whilst I've owned it, I've just had parts replaced as necessary due to age and mileage and changed the oil and filters on a regular basis. I can say hand on heart that this car has never missed a beat, the engine is fantastic and very economical. I averaged 66mpg from Bath to Leighton Buzzard on Monday Plus points: Always starts Economical I had the ABS pump rebuilt last year with all new electronics Half a tank of fuel VW roof bars available for an extra 50 quid Bad points (see MOT cert): Needs some welding, not a lot, but needs it Bonnet catch needs replacing (one of the bolts is spinning) Lots of scratches One key Lights need polishing Clutch will need replacing at some point It's a good car, it just needs someone capable of doing the work themselves.
