2009 Hyundai i10 1.2 Petrol Manual 96k miles - Spares or Repair - Cranks, Fuel & Spark - MOT due 21 Feb 26. Selling as spares or repair / non-runner. The car was driving perfectly fine previously but now will not start. Engine cranks strongly, fuel and spark are present, no immobiliser issues, no warning lights on the dashboard, OBD scan shows no fault codes. Likely to suit someone with mechanical knowledge to diagnose further (very possibly a compression/timing issue). The battery is good and the starter operates normally. Bodywork and interior are in reasonable condition for age (please see photos). The car will need to be trailered or towed away. Only other issues: Usual red paint fading and lacquer peeling, A/C not working, clutch pedal squeaky and heavy despite recent work detailed below. Recent work: New clutch pedal assembly and cable, rear brakes fully overhauled February 2025, new front tyres less than 3k miles ago.
