Description

Well looked after car which has had the wet belt replacement done by a Ford garage 18months ago at 69k miles. Comes with 2 Keys. The car is fitted with a detachable tow bar with 7 pin socket - this has been occasionally used for towing a small 6x4 trailer. Main features of this "Titanium Navigator" car : 125 HP 1.0Litre Turbo engine. Satellite Navigation, Power Assisted Steering with auto park assist, parking sensors front and rear, heated front and rear screens, cruise/speed limit control, air conditioning, auto dipping rear view mirror, auto wipers, pollen filter, locking wheel nuts. Ford SYNC wireless mobile phone connection with voice control for handsfree calls. I've owned this car for over 7 years and it has been completely reliable. As an engineer, I have done all the servicing myself - and as a fanatical engineer, I have given it oil and filter changes at half the distance specified by Ford (and importantly with the correct Ford specified oil) in order to keep the engine sweet - after all, engine oil is the most important part of the engine! I decided to pay a Ford garage to get the wet belt replacement done as I don't have a 4 post lift to gain proper access myself (I have the receipt for around 1600 pounds) and my frequent oil changes meant that the existing wet belt was actually in very good order (I still have it in the garage...) , but they automatically fit a new belt and oil pump anyway, so it should be good for at least another 60k miles. Tyres all round have a good amount of tread. Bodywork is excellent, but there is a small crease in the nearside front wing - the paintwork in this area is intact so I've not tampered with it. Nearside rear wheel arch has some rust. I fitted a new battery about 2 years ago. I've fixed the infamous coolant hose issue by fitting the updated version. I replaced the coolant reservoir tank 18 months ago as it was staring too show signs of crazing.
