For sale is my beloved classic Alfa Romeo 939 Spider Convertible. I have owned/loved this car for 8 years and It turns heads everywhere it goes due to its looks, sound and rarity. I have lost count of the compliments received and It makes the usual suspects in this class such as MX5's, Z4's and TT's look run of the mill. It comes with the classic Italian red leather interior paired with metallic black paintwork alongside 18" wheels (not 17" as stated by the automated info). As can be seen in the photos, the body work is in fantastic condition for an 18 year old classic car. Alongside the standard features such as air con and 6 speed gearbox, it also has a couple of significant upgrades, with the addition of a full Stainless steel VORTEX exhaust system (featured on Wheeler Dealers) which gives it a fantastic sound and a Kenwood DVD player / Radio. It features hands free phone calling, BT audio from your phone and has a reversing camera on it as well. Power hood is also in great condition and works fine. It has also been mercilessly serviced privately every 5000 miles and drives great. Due to being petrol, its ULEZ compliant, the 2.4 jtdm diesel versions out there are NOT, and honestly, who wants a little 2 seater Italian sports convertible with a diesel in it anyway? All that said, it is not a new car but a classic Alfa, so I will be honest and say it has a few faults that anyone buying into this class of car can always expect. I do not think they are dealbreakers, but the ones I am aware of are as follows. The passenger window works fine but when the door is opened its designed to drop down a tad and then return up when shut, but it doesn't return back up that little bit. A quick pull of the switch fixes that though. Drivers side fine. Power steering pump has a slight whine but works fine with no hard spots. Reversing sensors do not work but as mentioned it has a rear camera which it far better anyway. Alloys have kerb scratches, especially the drivers front, but given that a refurb of them would make the car even more stunning I should really list that as a positive! I have priced the car extremely competitively to sell quickly. Its situated in East London and has always been kept overnight in an underground private car park for last 7 years.
