While the bodywork on this car looks a little rough round the edges (particularly the crease in the rear passenger side corner), it's a good runner and is a nice smooth, easy drive. It was bought as an emergency car in Sept 2022 and expected to need replacing within a year or two. But it turns out to be a little trooper and it kept passing MOTs with minimal work needed, so here we are 3.5 years later and still going strong. When bought in 2022 it had a full service history. At that time, it had the brakes done, which would have been due at the next service interval anyway but no further scheduled services were done after that, just running repairs and oil changes. So as well as brakes, work done since 2022 includes an ABS trigger ring, 2 front tyres and 2 new ball joints so there's a good chance that next MOT will also require minimal work. No major known problems, just minor stuff: alternator belt can be a little squealy under heavy load (ie when pulling away) in cold weather because it's not used enough to keep the battery fully topped. Battery is ok though and the engine always starts easily. Only other problem is that twice in the last 6 months, the steering lock (or ignition) has jammed, but both times it has unjammed ok when the steering wheel is given a good wiggle at the same time as the key is turned in ignition. Presumably a new ignition barrel would correct this problem if it became persistent but it's working fine at present. The car has aircon but needs to be regarded. There is only 1 key. Otherwise, it's a good little car, good to go.
