MoT to 29 October 2026. Parkers review described the Mk 1 Fabia as: 'The most capable - and sensible - of all small hatchbacks' and it has certainly been that for us. The estate version gives you a huge amount of space, with good kneeroom for rear seat passengers, a height-adjustable driver's seat, and the well-regarded 1.9TDi engine provides reliable, trouble-free and economical motoring. We bought the car about five years ago, intending to keep it for a few months, but it stayed with us. Equally happy as a runabout or a motorway cruiser, it gives us 50-60mpg and seems to use no oil between services. We have always maintained it as necessary, both mechanicals and bodywork. Bodywork is good with a few scuffs here and there. Test drives welcome.
