Very clean and well-presented S-Special Eunos Roadster with 12 months MOT and a great overall condition throughout. Mechanically this car is spot on - engine, gearbox and brakes all perform exactly as they should. It genuinely feels tight and well sorted, easily one of the best driving Mk1 MX-5s I've owned/driven. It's fitted with KYB shocks and Eibach lowering springs, giving improved handling and stance while still riding comfortably. Otherwise completely standard. Tyres are all in excellent condition and recently replaced. Being the S-Special edition, it benefits from the desirable Torsen Type 1 Limited Slip Differential. Rust is minimal for one of these - slight bubbling on the arches and one sill advisory, but all purely cosmetic at this stage. No structural concerns and no immediate sill work required. One side has previously been professionally welded to a high standard. Bodywork is very presentable overall. There is a small dent on the front left wing and a few minor age-related marks, but nothing significant - the car cleans up very well as shown in the photos. The soft top is in excellent condition with no tears, marks or leaks and has seen very little use. A hardtop is also available for an additional 500, in good condition. Interior is a real highlight - full Nardi trim (steering wheel, gear knob etc.), upgraded seats with working headrest speakers, and all electrics functioning correctly including windows, mirrors and air conditioning. Japanese import, first registered in 1994 and imported to the UK in 2006. Mileage is verified, with the majority covered in Japan. Comes with a good service history file, largely with MX-5 specialists. Timing belt replaced approximately 11,000 miles ago (with proof). Only around 2,000 miles covered since last service, although a fresh service can be carried out before sale if the asking price is met. MOT history is excellent, with only one advisory. Comes with original Japanese handbook, tonneau cover and rare fog lights. Clean, well-maintained and highly original-feeling example - ready to be enjoyed.
