I've owned this 1992 Land Rover Defender 200Tdi for just over 4 years, and in that time it's been a really enjoyable and dependable vehicle. It's not been a garage ornamentit's been used, looked after, and improved as I've gone along. When I first bought it, my plan was simple: make it as reliable and solid as possible while keeping its character. Over the years I've put a lot of time and effort into it, mainly focusing on the important mechanical areas rather than just cosmetics. I've carried out work on the electrical system, gone through the chassis where needed, and refreshed key components like the suspension, brakes, and bearings. The idea was always to have something I could jump into and trust, whether for short trips or longer drives. It's been regularly maintained during my ownership and never neglected. The 200Tdi engine is strong and does exactly what you'd expect simple, reliable, and easy to live with. Of course, it's a 1992 vehicle, so it has a few age-related marks here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary and nothing that takes away from how it drives or what it is. I'm only selling because it's time for a change, but it's been a great vehicle to own and I'm sure the next owner will enjoy it just as much.
