Supplied new on 29/09/2006 by Hunters of Norwich to a local gentleman who kept it until September of last year. He ordered it in Tonga green with the County pack, Air conditioning and a colour coded roof. Further extras fitted included- front and rear QT diff guards, heavy duty steering guard, Mantec snorkel, 1500w inverter, upgraded stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, chequer plate on the wing tops, light guards, front bumper corner rubbers, BF Goodrich Mud terrain tyres, side steps, high security cubby box, master cut off switch and Terrafirma shocks. Upon delivery to it's first owner it was taken straight to a Land Rover specialist where the chassis and box sections were thoroughly rustproofed, which has served it extremely well, as the chassis footwells and bulkhead are in exceptional condition. Rubber matting and soundproofing were fitted in the rear from day one, which has kept it in almost as new condition. It's recently had just over 2000 spent addressing the MOT failure items along with a comprehensive B service. New parts fitted include -all four calipers, discs and pads, brake fluid, galvanised front suspension turrets, rear half shafts, front swivel seals, 4 x hub bearings, fuel tank breather tube, 2x steering ball joints plus many other smaller items. All fluids were changed in the axles, gearbox and transfer box along with the rotor oil filter and standard engine filter. As can be seen from the photos this isn't your average old Defender TD5 but a vehicle that's been exceptionally well cared for by a fastidious owner over the last 20 years..
