The ultimate in versatility. Fabulous condition. Seat covers have been on since purchase with immaculate upholstery underneath. Purchased last year, used for a couple trips where the vehicle performed flawlessly but now (regretfully) up-sizing to something with onboard wash facilities. This vehicle will be really missed, however. New General Grabber all-terrain tyres (optimum size and tread pattern for on-road performance and economy whilst still giving great off-road and snow traction when required) on 17-inch OZ black alloy wheels. All the usual California refinements, almost too many to list, but what I will say is the side canvas of the elevating roof on the 6.1 provides considerably better blackout than previous models, which was a big plus for us. Digital cockpit, touchscreen media unit with sat nav and Apple Play, diesel heater with remote fob (so you can either turn the heating on and off from bed, or pre-heat the vehicle before getting in), large chest fridge, lots of storage and electrical charge points and outlets throughout the vehicle. I fitted a factory-spec drawer unit to the cupboard below the sink as VW only supply a cutlery drawer. Quite an expensive accessory but it's been brilliant, allowing the cupboard space to be used a lot more efficiently and makes items easier to access. It's been a joy to drive and to own. Such a rare vehicle - the last of the 4x4 VW campers.
