This has been my wife's car since Feb 2023. With us its lived a gentle life - we live half way between Newcastle and Carlisle so all her journeys are at least 25-30 mins straight along the A69 with cruise control at 50-70mph, with a nice warm engine, a happy DPF and very little stress on the gearbox and brakes. She does zero city driving or rush hour commuting. Since we've owned the car I've had it serviced every 10,000 by a decent garage - Wylam Nissan in Hexham. They're not a Skoda franchise as the nearest ones to us are too far away at Newcastle or Carlisle, but they're an excellent garage and I've included one of their video reports - the MOT inspection from January showing the underside, suspension, exhaust, brakes and tyres all in excellent condition. The DSG and Haldex oil were changed at 110,000 29/7/25. Timing belt was done at 81k 16/9/22. There's loads of stamps in the service book but a gap from 55k 27/9/17 to next stamp 80k 9/10/20 - that didn't put me off as these are solidly built cars, and its never let us down. Tyres are all Michelin CrossClimate. The front tyres were brand new for the recent MOT in January so they're around 7mm and the rears have around 4-5mm left. Kwik Fit Hexham did the wheel alignment when they fitted the new tyres. Both bodywork and interior are in fantastic condition for the age and miles. Everything works. There's a tiny windscreen crack around 2-3mm long but this was no issue on the MOT. Unfortunately the Skoda badge fell off the boot at some point this winter.
